The selection of the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band as the “Official Band of San Francisco.” Shown in four parts spanning November 28 – December 18, 2018. Part 1 (from November 28) includes a 3-minute excerpt from the amazing 40th Anniversary recap video put together by a Band member. The culmination of this effort was a grand signing ceremony by Mayor London Breed in the historic City Hall Rotunda. The Band performed San Francisco’s two official songs there. This is the first time San Francisco has chosen anything as “official” since 1990.
